Do I need planning permission for a rear extension?

Most single-storey rear extensions fall under Permitted Development and don't need a planning application — but it depends on depth, height and your property type. We'll advise when we visit. If planning permission is required, we can point you to a local agent.

How long does a rear extension take to build?

A typical single-storey rear extension runs 8–12 weeks from groundwork to handover. Larger or two-storey projects take longer. We give you a realistic programme before we start and we stick to it.

Do you build extensions in Eccleshall?

Yes — we're based in Eccleshall, on The Crescent, so extensions here are our home turf. We also cover Stafford and roughly a 20-mile radius beyond it.

It's all organised by us and included in the price you're quoted.

Do you build kitchens or know any good kitchen fitters?

Yes — we work closely with, and can recommend, top-tier kitchen fitters, so your whole job runs smoothly from digging foundations to plumbing in the sink and fitting cabinets — handy if your extension is a kitchen-diner. Do you do loft conversions?

Loft conversions are a specialist area — the rules around staircases, headroom, bathrooms and usable space are different to extending out the back.
