Block paving
Our most-requested driveway finish — durable, repairable, and available in a range of colours and patterns.
Block-paved driveways done properly — proper subbase, proper drainage, proper finish. No shortcuts that show up as cracks and sinking two winters later.
Most driveway problems trace back to a skipped or shallow subbase. We excavate to the right depth, compact properly, set edge restraints, and get the falls right for drainage — then the blocks go down.
Our most-requested driveway finish — durable, repairable, and available in a range of colours and patterns.
Correct falls, soakaways or permeable options where needed so water goes where it's supposed to, not into your house.
Proper edge restraints so the driveway holds its line for years, not months.
Drag the handle to see the before and after. This job replaced a cracked, sinking concrete drive with a fully re-based block-paved driveway and new kerbs.
September 2025 — a large block-paving job in Walton. Lawn replaced with a 2-3 car driveway, and the old concrete slabs and crazy paving down the side of the house swapped for tidy new block paving. Refreshed the whole look of the property.
Driveways aren't the only thing we lay. Natural stone, porcelain, block paviour — whatever suits the house, laid to the same standard: proper excavation, a compacted subbase and the right falls for drainage.

If the new driveway is at the front of the house and covers more than 5 square metres, planning permission is usually needed unless you use permeable paving or drain the water to a lawn or border rather than the road. We'll advise on the right approach when we visit.
Excavation to the right depth, a properly compacted subbase, edge restraints, and correct falls for drainage before the blocks go down. Skipping the subbase is the most common reason driveways fail early — we don't cut that corner.
Yes — natural stone, porcelain, block paviour, whatever suits the house and budget. Same principles as a driveway: proper excavation, a compacted subbase and the right falls for drainage, so it stays flat and doesn't pool.
